FAQ

What is Milaap.org?

Milaap.org, if we may say so ourselves, is an exciting new way to do good. When you make a loan on the www.milaap.org, it helps someone pick up a skill that will make him/her employable. Or it helps a family build a toilet, get a water connection or access to solar lighting. And because this is a loan, and not a donation, you get 100% of your money back.

Okay this sounds pretty cool, how can I get involved?

Tell your friends about Rumbadoodle, tell them about Milaap.org, and tell them how a Grammy nominated producer is doing his bit to do good. Buy the album. You could then visit www.milaap.org and lend as little as $25 to someone in need, see the impact of your loan over the next few months, and get 100% of your money back.

How will the proceeds from the album be used?

The proceeds go to youngsters from rural background in India who wish to undergo vocational training to become employable. After the training, they are placed in jobs and they begin to repay the loan. Once the loan is repaid, the same amount can be used to train more youngsters.
