Industree Crafts Foundation (ICF) - Karnataka, India

Industree Crafts Foundation is a fair-trade certified, social enterprise that connects artisans and agricultural workers with the urban market. ICF has a network of over 5000 artisans across 8 states in India, to whom it provides end-to-end integration: from manpower training, raw material sourcing, product design and development, to marketing at fair trade prices through 'Mother Earth', its chain of retail stores.

Industree's unique model of ownership enables rural labourers to become self sustaining entrepreneurs who run their own production unit as Self Help Groups of 10 to 12 individuals at 58% revenue share, which is the highest in this space. Through insistence on the use of natural and agricultural products ICF also builds eco-consciousness and promotes eco-friendly and sustainable consumption.
