Vijay was one of our first investors and evangelists. A serial entrepreneur, Vijay tries to ensure that entrepreneurship is promoted and that funds are the least of an entrepreneur's problems.

He has over 10 years of experience in telecom and new media, with a specialty in product and application design and development. He founded his first venture XS Corps while at college and sold it to Lotus Interworks LLC, New Jersey in 1999.

Currently Vijay is swamped with One97 Communications Limited, a company of more than a thousand people, and with us, picking his brains for his extensive knowledge in product development.

Rajiv is one of our early investors.

Rajiv started his career in 1998, managing product marketing and distribution for Aura W.A, West Africa. He forayed into telecom in 2000 with the Bharti Group, where he was a key contributor in industry innovations including ring back tones, which remains the single largest value added service in India. Rajiv was also associated with OnMobile Singapore in a business development capacity, initiating operations in multiple countries, including Indonesia and Brazil.

Currently Rajiv is a Director at One97 Communications Limited, where he is busy managing his "non-executive, non-independent" role besides advising us on scaling distribution and operations.

A TED fellow 09, Nitin has through his experience as founder or principal participant of cutting-edge startups, including E4SI, a solutions delivery firm in the development sector, Bodhi, the rural education arm of SKS Microfinance, and Let Me Know, India's largest website on youth opportunities contributed significantly to Milaap.

He is currently busy advising us and managing Founder responsibilities at dPlay, an MIT design startup. He is excited about Milaap's ability to bring much needed breadth and scale to the online micro-lending market.

Paul has always assisted us with important introductions which have transformed into great partnerships for Milaap.

Paul has considerable experience in Microfinance with nearly three years at SKS Microfinance, where he managed the role of Vice President, Business Development & Strategy besides contributing significantly to business planning, international expansion (mainly China), and equity funding. Prior to SKS, Paul practiced corporate and real estate law with Mayer Brown in Chicago.

He is currently busy sharing his global perspective with us, managing consulting assignments for CGAP, and being an independent consultant to social enterprises with a focus on capacity development and capital mobilization.
